Clomiphene Citrate Clomid is a medication to induce ovulation and then hopefully get you pregnant. It may have worked and it may have made you ovulate but pregnancy in and by itself is not the only measure that clomiphene worked. So let's start at the beginning: You take Clomid for 5 days (usually cycle days 5-9 but you can start taking clomiphene as early as cycle day 2).
